Hi everyone,

This is the leader of the BRIGHT DIY Japan domestic team. We are so sorry that right now we could not contact the leader (Wasu) who is in charge of international business currently and generated a massive disappointment among backers. Therefore, from today, the domestic team of BRIGHT DIY will carry on to take care of this project. Right now, we are trying to access the Easyship and check the real issues of high cost for shipment.

Firstly, for the first batch to be sent out in January 2022 (half of the current backers), we confirmed with our partner that the shipment did not make it on time to be sent out before Chinese New Year. It will be carried on after 9th February and hopefully, the first batch shipment will be finished within February. The next update will be made after the shipment is finished.

Secondly, for backers who are not satisfied with the shipping cost, we are considering partial support for the delivery fee to reduce the cost and using an alternative way to ship from our domestic warehouse in Japan. However, since the domestic team could not contact the in-charge person to get access to Easy-ship, please wait for our next update. We are trying our best to deliver the goods to everyone at an acceptable price by dividing the regions and cooperating with our delivery partner in Japan and China.

Thirdly, about the product, after our success in Japan crowdfunding Makuake, there were many imitated products coming out and we are struggling to fight with them. We have submitted all the documents to the Indiegogo Trust Team relating to product copyrights and so on as proof to be able to continue the project here.

Finally, for refund, we are considering among domestic team members now, however, the project itself is not belonging the domestic team budget, please wait for us to discuss with the international team about this issue. Right now, since we are not able to contact them, it might take some time to update backers about this matter. Please wait for our next update and thank you for your patience.

We are so sorry for this massive disappointment among backers generated by our team members. For the domestic support team, we will try our best to support you as we have served more than 6000 backers here in Japan.

Hi all,

We sent out the EasyShip surveys to most regions over the past few days.
It brings to everyone's attention that some parts of the world are taking a hefty shipping fee.

We apologize for this unexpected high cost.

The situation is that our project is based in Japan.
This is unfortunate for many backers from the other side of the globe as the distance largely dictates the delivery fee, although, of course, it favors backers near us.

To make the situation more complicated, since the number of backers is relatively small and spread worldwide (58 countries),
we could not afford to rent a warehouse in a specific country to reduce last-mile delivery.

The solution we went for is EasyShip to collect and calculate shipping fees transparently for each individual and have not charged any cost unrelated to the delivery.

But that as we saw the problem, the delivery fee is too high and is not manageable for many of us.
We are working with both the IGG and EasyShip teams to find a viable solution as soon as possible.

We have confirmed that all perks are ready to be shipped!

EasyShip is now sending you a shipping preference survey!
This 2nd survey will help you get your rewards at a preferred delivery cost with your preferred payment method!

Note: The rolling out of surveys depends on your region; this might last for a week until all of us receive an email from EasyShip.

Once it is there, please fill the survey so that your perk can be on its way to you :)

Some of us have issues with regional import regulations (TAX no etc.) with the help of EasyShip, and we are sorting them out one by one.
